In 2010, Mr Chaturvedi received the prestigious Padma Bhushan award from the Government of India for his contribution to the civil services. He served in many Ministries including the Department of Elementary Education & Literacy, and as Special Secretary., Finance before taking on the senior most position in the civil services as Cabinet Secretary to GOI.He was also a Member in the erstwhile Planning Commission, the leading wing of the government which allocated funds in a balanced manner. He is currently the Chairman of the prestigious Delhi Public School Society, which oversees hundreds of DPS schools.
Mr. Vasudev has held the position of Secretary in Banking, Expenditure, and Economic Affairs, and has served as a nominee on the boards of several public sector enterprises, including SBI, IDBI, IDFC, and NABARD. Additionally, he has acted as the Government of India’s nominee to the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He also worked as Executive Director of the World Bank and, post-retirement, joined HDFC Bank as its non-executive Chairman.
She is the only educator in India, who has won the Government's most prestigious awards, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri for her work in the education field. She was the Principal of Delhi Public School, R K Puram for almost 20 years.
