Sonali’s Commitment to Education & Family at Nine
In the heart of Mohbtabad village in rural Faridabad, Sonali, a determined young girl has embarked on a journey of empowerment through education. With limited resources and familial responsibilities, Sonali faced the daunting task of balancing her studies at the Mohbtabad government school, while also caring for her younger sister.
Recognizing the importance of education, Sonali took it upon herself to ensure her little sister’s presence in the classroom, because her parents go to work and there is no one to look after her sister at home. The only way she can attend the Trust’s remedial classes and attend school is by bringing her sister to school. Through our intervention and support, Sonali’s academic journey has flourished as we have provided her with enhanced English and Maths skills, empowering her to break free from the cycle of adversity.
Sonali’s story exemplifies the transformative impact of education in rural communities, inspiring us to continue our efforts in fostering sustainable development and bringing light to hundreds of children, who need academic support, for a better life today and tomorrow.
